Orientation and training

           I believe that money is the most important tool that a manager has for motivating employees. As much as other factors might impact the motivation of employees, money plays an important role in the motivation of employees. In the absence of money, a majority of employees, especially the younger generation, would have no reason to work (Rožman, Treven & Čančer, 2017). The role that money plays in modern society implies that it is a means to various needs and wants of human beings. Furthermore, even the non-monetary approaches to motivation would need money to be successful. Therefore, HRM practitioners and employers should engage in making sure that they offer the most competitive compensation for human service so that they can enhance the possibility of attracting the best talents that the market can offer. 

           It is to the advantage of an organization to hire employees who need training when an organization intends to have employees with a unique set of skills because of the uniqueness of the products and services offered and the processes involved. Therefore, hiring employees who need training gives such an organization to mold the skills of the employees that they acquire based on the unique requirements that it has. Organizations should go for trained employees when they are seeking to recruit employees with universally applicable skills, such as accounting. Notably, hiring already trained employees also enhances the extent to which an organization would spend in training employees to the extent to which they would have gained the required expertise (Di Stasio & van de Werfhorst, 2016). For instance, it would not make sense for an organization to hire an untrained person for an engineering post because of the importance of such a role and the amount of time and money needed for such training to be complete.
