Crime Control

Crime is the act of committing an offense or violating the government set rules and laws. It is considered to be a subject that attracts the interest of the public, and the general society believes that the state government and law enforcers have a responsibility of solving the crime problems and maintaining peace. Controlling the crime focuses on application of the correct statutes of finding facts, founded on the accounted criminal cases, by maintaining a public policy and public agencies that is provided to the political actors and government institutions. Crime control follows several procedures in the implementation process. Firstly, there is problem identification where the crime performed is acknowledged, and investigation of the individual or groups that have performed the crime (Marion 32). Secondly, there is agenda setting by the police or the investigation team.  In this step, key issues to be identified, supported by the facts in the offense case are presented. Thirdly, there is strategy formulation where rules and regulations underlying the unlawful case are reviewed to make certain fairness in the justice impositions. The investigation team is positioned to search for the facts of the criminal case, and begins the investigation in order to allow a quick law application. Plan implementation is the next step where ruling and laws are maintained and applied in scrutinizing the criminal case presented. Finally, there is evaluation and reassessment of the case presented. In the evaluation and reassessment step, verdict against the accused is prepared based on the facts obtained while investigating the criminal case. The rights of the victim are considered and the accused individual is subjected to the penalties or jail term consistent to the crime done. The offense control methods are viewed as systems to pursue criminal justices through policy making, crime deterrence, and secularization. Crime control systems are devoted to bringing back the former goodness of the society and an enhanced implementation of the criminal justices. Different societies use different crime control methods according to their cultures, crime reports that are persistent, legislative documents, and crime development in the society. The human rights are observed with a complete implementation and application of the law (Marion 32).

Crime control is defined as the significant procedures that are used to prevent crime activities in the society and in organizations. Penalties are applied as a way of discouraging people from being involved in temporally or permanent offenses. Crime Control Model is the combination of procedures that focus on crimes, with the aim of protecting the entire society or public from criminal injustices. The system uses strict punishments for the offenses by subjecting criminals to the harsh penalties for the crimes they commit. The model strives to pass offense cases via a valid criminal system in the possible techniques to get the cases swiftly throughout the system. Crime control model is important and should prevail in the society (Shahidullah 45).

The model allows the repression of offenses, making way for justice in the offense cases, thus, making the society to be a place with freedom. The model ensures that the sufferers in offense cases enjoy their rights, while the offenders face their judgments in court.  While justice is being allowed to prevail, police powers or authorities should be broadened for easier search, seize, arrest, investigations, and convictions. The justice processes operate swiftly, moving the cases towards their dispotion. If authority forces perform a prosecution or an arrest, the offender is presumed guilty since the prosecutors and investigators are viewed to be reliable entities in the investigation of the criminal cases. Thus, the main aim of the justice methods is to investigate for the truth based on the offense cases submitted, and the facts that make the accuse to be termed as guilty (Shahidullah 52).

Additionally, the criminal management methods act in ways that enhance fundamental fairness and equality under the law provided. The methods focus on the defendant benefits since the victims’ civil rights are already provided in the Bill of Right. In these methods, the powers of police authorities are limited to reduce the oppression of individuals or those who are accused. The criminal control methods are responsible for the application of the constitutional rights, the procedures used, parity guidelines, and the impartiality processes that are applied. Moreover, the justice processes determine the obstacle course involving several impediments that are in safeguard form, and those aimed at protecting the innocent and convicting the guilty party. Therefore, in the control processes, the state authorities and powers declare an individual to be guilty based on the facts presented, and only if the government has followed correctly the legal procedures in the fact-finding processes (Kattakayam 114).

Crime controls methods are viewed to be superior in the society that applies them. This is because the control model determines the liberal values of government, and shapes eligibility of justice policies. The procedures make the society to be a better place as everybody abides to established rules and regulations. A character’s rights are sacrificed for common good of everyone in public. Rule enforcers recognize civil liberties of the accused, and there is fairness in the imposition of the regulations rather than false accusations. The models maintain law and order in the entire community, and most importantly protecting people from the general injustices (Kattakayam 156).

There are several ways that can be used to manage crime by state and society. Correctional education can be a better way of reducing offenses and maintaining laws and order. Vocational training consists of programs that provide skills, such as appliance repair, which are transferable to any given workplace. In this program, people get useful information on the consequences of committing crimes or the penalties that are available to the law violators. Obtaining knowledge during vocational training allows a bigger scope to benefit from those programs, as in the factual sense, the whole public is provided with information. Furthermore, there are the literacy improvement sessions where the literacy levels of the members of the society are improved through actual teachings and acquisition of abilities. These teachings mostly focus on the youth and the teenage individuals that are considered idle and subject to commit or be used to perform the crimes. Correctional programs can be applied in a standard setup or applied inside a prison institute. They are important because they control the crime levels, and tend to modify the undesirable characters in the accused entities. The accused individuals gain the cognitive skills and learn how to maintain and live crime-free lives.  Crime control can also be effected through formation of small groups in societies, which major in identifying the crimes that are persistent in their society and the ways to reduce the crimes. The groups can consist elderly and young individuals, where the young are guided on the ways to avoid violating the laws or committing crimes (Kattakayam 161).

Crime control is an important issue in the society and in the entire state in general. The law enforcers and the state authorities ought to implement justice to the wrong doers, with a complete application in the stated laws without discrimination. Correct law enforcement effectively guides the entire society on how to avoid committing crimes, and how to improve human relations. A corrupt law enforcement system results in increased crime acts, thus making it very difficult to reduce and control crime. Good aptitude and expertise is required during the crime control operations. Proper training of the crime investigators adds value to the outcome of any criminal search. This is because expertise would be applied while conducting inquiries, therefore, minor or limited errors impacting from investigation outcomes. Professionalism is therefore needed to deal with the crimes of distinguished nature. Complicated criminal cases require deeper and intense investigations for a correct correctional accomplishment. Applying the right measures to right criminal situation reduces chances of the crimes being repeated, thus controlling crime. In addition, providing favorable environmental conditions for the inmates held for correctional programs determines the personal thoughts of the inmates. A relatively harsh environment to the accused allows greatly for the crimes to be committed again, due to the personal perspectives of the inhumane treatment that can be attached to the correctional institutes or authorities. The use of stable principles within the correctional departments would greatly impact on how much the crime is controlled. During the crime control processes, the police department, defense counsels, correctional institutions or the investigative individuals should continue cooperating with the justice administrations, in order to effectively concerted their efforts of controlling criminal and crime activities (Kattakayam 173).

Crime control methods present a better view of the law and its enforcers.  A government or a society that has properly sort laws and principles concerning the crime control methods enhance the peace in the society, while controlling crime. Societies that consider educational programs for their members have a better way to control crime. Equality and fairness is key while implementing judgments or imposing penalties to those who conduct crimes. This is because, the guilty individual gets judgments according to their mistakes, while the innocent party is provided with the rights and benefits that they deserve, in accordance to the crime actions performed to them. Effective control methods are consistent and allow the entire crime control process to be an easy and a speedy one for the investigators and the judgments panels connected to the criminal case .Introduction of new methods to help control crimes is key in any society. The society members, in help of the law enforcers have the mandate to find new ways of controlling crimes, as well as changing or abolishing the old and outdated procedures, for an effective crime control. This innovative ways may include providing technological surveillance around the vulnerable areas such as equipped institutions and financial banks.  Digital use of hidden Circuit Camera televisions can be used to identify the crime doers in an easy and effective way , thus considering desirable law measures(Kattakayam 175)
