Sample Early Childhood Education Paper on Socioeconomic and Cultural Impacts on Development

Socioeconomic and cultural status impact physical and cognitive development in early
childhood stages. The socioeconomic and cultural background shape the environment the
children grow in. The kind of environment that a child interacts with when growing influences
their behaviors and mentality. Socioeconomic status is the social and financial position in
society. The environment is influenced by socioeconomic and cultural aspects and has input on a
child's development, as it did to me.
The socioeconomic and cultural status impacted my language development. My
socioeconomic and cultural environment at infancy influenced emotional, cognitive, social, and
physical development. My parents provided essential needs for early development, such as health
and food. The availability of the crucial needs positively impacted my cognitive ability, allowing
proper language development. Socioeconomic and cultural aspects influence cognitive behavior
significant in learning (Hoff & Laursen, 2019). The cultural background showed how I interacted
with adults around me developed my vocabulary development.
The socioeconomic and cultural environment during my adolescent development
influenced my ethics. The cultural environment during adolescence growth imparts moral values.
The socioeconomic environment affects choices during adolescence (Ballard et al., 2019). A
favorable socioeconomic and cultural environment helped me define the values that shape
morality.
My socioeconomic and cultural background affected my cognitive and physical growth.
The socioeconomic status allows children to gain potent early childhood education that
influences their mental abilities (Chen et al., 2018). In my case, it included stable socioeconomic

status conditions, a favorable learning environment, and cultural background. My socioeconomic
status affected me in educational attainment and achievement.
Comprehending the socioeconomic and cultural factors might help me change my
thoughts and understand others. Understanding the impacts of socioeconomic and cultural factors
will help me eliminate status-based identity. Recognizing the socioeconomic and cultural status
of others will help me understand their identity better. How individuals interpret their
socioeconomic and cultural status affects their thoughts, motivation, and behavior. Awareness of
the development outcome influenced by social, economic status, and cultural background will
improve my self-identity and understanding of others.
